God's creative power is active in our lives. Colossians 1:16-17 reads, "For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together." The depth of this reality is beautifully articulated in Gabelein's assertion, "all truth is God's truth" (The Pattern of God's Truth). Why? Because God’s truth is what keeps everything working in this world.
God Is Truth! God’s word is absolute truth. God’s word is a moral absolute. God leads and teaches in three primary ways: through the Bible, prayer, and wise counsel.
Psalm 25:5 reads, "Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.” The Psalmist here was praying to God. What role does Jesus play in our salvation?
