Redwood Eagles CAMP (REC) is a summer-long enrichment program designed with thematic weeks to challenge and support your child’s many interests. Students will focus on the fundamental skills of various activities and incorporate fun, engaging games to reinforce camper learning.
Unless otherwise noted, Summer REC is for local students entering grades 1-8 (Fall 2024). Students entering K will be considered on a case-by-case basis provided they have successfully completed a TK program. Lunch is not provided. Campers must bring their own marked water bottle and as needed snacks.
Led by Patrick Lee, Director of Specialized Programs at Redwood Christian Schools, our REC program utilizes many of the talents and specialties of teachers and coaches at RCS and other local organizations. All adult and high school student staff are vetted through our application process and will be directly supervised by current RCS teachers, coaches and/or staff. Our staff to camper ratio is 1:14 but we endeavor to lower this ratio as appropriate to the themed week.
Summer CAMP will be held at the Middle School & High School campus located in San Lorenzo. This campus provides outdoor sports facilities as well as a new, state-of-the-art gymnasium. Classrooms may also be used to provide indoor teaching and activities as appropriate.
All registrations for our Summer REC will be accepted beginning March 1, 2024, until space is filled.
Registration Timeline and Cancellation Policy:
Summer REC registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please note that some camps may have a maximum occupancy based on staff availability. RCS reserves the right to cancel any camp, with a full refund, due to unforeseen circumstances. All camp details are subject to change. We do not accept drop-in campers without prior registration.
Payment is due upon registration. Cancellation, by the camper, any time after registration and up until 2 weeks before the camp begins, will result in a $30 non-refundable fee. Cancellation within the 2 weeks before camp begins will result in a 50% refund.
Due to the uncertainty of COVID-19 guidelines (that may change by the summer), all Summer REC programs may be cancelled. Therefore, if cancellation is made by RCS, a full refund will be given.
- Registration closes two weeks before camp/care start date.
- You must cancel your reservation eight (8+) days or more before camp start date or charges will be incurred.
- One week before camp date, a confirmation email will be sent confirming your spot and giving camp details (what to bring, drop off/pick up, etc.)
